Omar returns to the Brewers from Kenya Police FC, marking a homecoming to a club he previously represented, as Tusker continue to strengthen their squad for the new campaign.

The veteran left-back rejoins Tusker after an impressive spell with Kenya Police, where he played a key role in the club's success and was crowned the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his outstanding performances during the season.

During his time at Kenya Police, Omar played a pivotal role in the club's most successful period, helping the Law Enforcers lift their maiden FKF Premier League title in the 2024/25 season before adding the 2024 Mozzart Bet Cup to his list of honours.

Omar first joined Tusker in 2013 from Bandari FC and enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Ruaraka. He helped the Brewers win four domestic trophies, including two Mozzart Bet Cup titles (then the GOtv Shield) and two Top 8 Cup crowns, with his impressive performances eventually earning him a move to Greek side Panegialios.

His return comes nearly 13 years after his first arrival at Tusker and sees him become the club's second signing of the ongoing transfer window following the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Mbaoma from Remo Stars.

The experienced defender's arrival underlines head coach Julien Mette's intent to strengthen his squad ahead of his first full season in charge, with the Brewers determined to mount a serious challenge for the FKF Premier League title.
