The partnership, announced by club patron Eliud Owalo, will see Spiro become the club's Official Electric Mobility Partner in a deal worth Ksh7.5 million per year.

According to Owalo, the sponsorship comes at a crucial time as the record Kenyan champions prepare for a demanding campaign that includes the FKF Premier League, the CECAFA Championship and the CAF Champions League.

"Today, I was delighted to witness the signing of a sponsorship agreement between Spiro and Gor Mahia FC, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership that will see Spiro become the Club's Official Electric Mobility Partner.

"Under the agreement, Spiro will sponsor Gor Mahia FC to the tune of Ksh7.5 million annually, providing timely support as the club prepares for a demanding season that includes the CECAFA Championship, the Kenya Premier League and the CAF inter-club competitions," Owalo posted on X (formerly Twitter).

The signing ceremony was attended by Spiro Country Head Vishal Mittal alongside Raymond Kitunga and Flora Limukii, while Gor Mahia were represented by Secretary General Nick Arum, Treasurer Gerphas Okuku, Administration Manager Ronald Ngala, Chairman of the Gor Mahia Fan Branches Coordinating Committee (COC) Paul Ochar and COC Secretary George Awino.

Owalo described the partnership as a strong endorsement of Kenyan football and highlighted the growing role of the private sector in supporting the country's sporting ecosystem.

The agreement is the latest in a series of major commercial wins for Gor Mahia in recent weeks.

In June, the club renewed its sponsorship with Kansai Plascon Kenya Limited in a three-year deal worth Ksh30 million, reaffirming a partnership that has been instrumental in supporting the club over the years.

K'Ogalo also recently entered into partnership talks with German-based sports and logistics company ONEflow Sports, a deal expected to streamline the club's travel and operational logistics during both domestic and continental assignments.

The latest sponsorship further underlines Gor Mahia's growing commercial appeal under the current leadership, with the club increasingly attracting corporate investment ahead of a season in which they will be targeting success on multiple fronts.

Besides defending their FKF Premier League crown, the Green Army will also be chasing Mozzart Bet Cup glory while seeking to make a strong impression in the CAF Champions League.
