‘Sell Bernabeu if you need to, just buy Olise’

The Spanish press is advocating hard for the Frenchman
The Michael Olise mania is in full swing in Spain. The French forward is having a great World Cup so far, and assisted twice on Tuesday against Sweden (3-0). Bayern’s player was a subject of much speculation before and shortly after Florentino Perez’s win at the Real’s internal elections. Even though old/new Real president mentioned a big transfer name, he specifically told the reporters that it wasn’t Olise. Still, both German and especially Spanish press continued to build up the hype that even Bayern’s president had to step up and give a statement regarding their player. And even that was not enough, so Real Madrid released an official statement denying any contact with the player. And just as the rumors quietened down, the hype is building up again out of nowhere.
Spanish press is so thrilled with Olise’s World Cup performances that they are trying to ‘pressure’ Real to bid for the player. ‘Marca’ is at the forefront with their glorification of Olise.
"Special mention to Olise, with all due respect to Mbappe. If selling the Bernabeu is necessary to acquire him, so be it. Kylian is playing exceptionally well, and his performances shouldn't be underestimated, but the Bayern winger is making his job much easier. So much so that we sometimes forget that Dembele, who had an excellent match, is a serious Ballon d'Or contender. He didn't score yesterday, when he could have netted three or four goals, but he already has five assists in four matches” wrote journalist Pablo Polo.
Just about the time when Polo was writing his theses about Olise, Bayern’s president Herbert Hainer talked to 'Abendzeitung' newspapers and was asked again about the Frenchman.
“As I've said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has an offer in mind, he can save himself the trouble because we don't want to sell Michael Oise. As Bayern Munich, we have a very good relationship with Real Madrid and, as a result, they contacted me to say that, firstly, they have absolutely no contact with Michael Olise and, secondly, they do not want these constant speculations in the media” said Hainer.
