The PSG striker signed a five-year deal with Rossoneri
AC Milan have officially shattered their club transfer record after Goncalo Ramos signed a contract with the Rossoneri until 2031. The only remaining question concerns the exact size of the transfer fee, as different sources report different figures. Renowned transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims Milan will pay 65 million plus euros plus five million in bonuses, while Fabrizio Romano reports the deal is worth 74 million plus bonuses. The latter figure has also been listed by the specialized website Transfermarkt.

Ramos joined Paris Saint-Germain two and a half years ago from Benfica in a 65 million move, arriving as one of the most highly rated young strikers in European football. However, he never managed to establish himself as PSG's undisputed first-choice centre-forward. During his time at the Parc des Princes, the Portuguese international made 131 appearances, scoring 45 goals. Last season, he featured in 45 matches across all competitions and found the net 12 times, a respectable return considering he started only 15 games. His spell in Paris was nevertheless packed with silverware. Ramos won three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France trophies, three French Super Cups, two UEFA Champions League titles, and one UEFA Super Cup.
Since making his senior debut for Portugal in November 2022, Ramos has become a regular member of the national team. He has represented his country at two FIFA World Cups and helped Portugal lift the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League trophy. New Milan manager Ruben Amorim has already begun strengthening the club's Portuguese contingent. Following Ramos' arrival, Benfica centre-back Antonio Silva is also expected to join the Rossoneri. It remains to be seen whether Rafael Leao will stay at San Siro, having reportedly asked to leave the club about a month ago. Either way, Milan's attacking fortunes are set to depend heavily on their growing Portuguese core.
