The club's Secretary General and a Commissioner of Police Chris Mmbwanga Oguso, outlined the objectives of both teams as preparations gather pace for the new campaign.
Kenya Police Bullets head into the season on the back of another successful domestic campaign after winning the FKF Women's Premier League title for a third consecutive season.
Having established themselves as the dominant force in Kenyan women's football, the club is now targeting regional success as the next step in its growth.
Oguso said the immediate goal for the Bullets is to win the CECAFA Women's Club Championship in Rwanda, a feat that would secure qualification to the CAF Women's Champions League.
"Our dream is to represent Kenya at the CAF Women's Champions League. To achieve that, we must first win the CECAFA title in Rwanda, which has eluded us for the past two years. This time we are determined to bring the trophy home before defending our league title. The girls are up to the task," said Oguso.
On the men's side, Oguso admitted last season fell below expectations despite the club competing on multiple fronts.
Police FC ended the campaign without a trophy after relinquishing the FKF Premier League title to Gor Mahia and suffering defeat to Tusker FC in the Mozzart Bet Cup final.
"Last season was not our best. We have gone back to the drawing board with the technical bench to strategize on how to reclaim our glory. Our target every season is to win the league, and it is unfortunate that we will not be taking part in continental football this year," he said.
Oguso revealed that plans are already underway to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season, with the club hoping to make the most of having no continental commitments.
"Under the leadership of our chairman (Munga Nyale-SAIG), we will strengthen the squad and challenge Gor Mahia for the league title. We will have more time to focus on the domestic campaign compared to last season when we were engaged in the CAF Champions League," he added.
