A possible sale could give Juve a much needed room to maneuver in the transfer market
Paris Saint-Germain have asked Juventus for information regarding Khephren Thuram. The two clubs have been in talks for some time over Randal Kolo Muani, and during those discussions Thuram's name reportedly surfaced as a potential target. The Juventus midfielder recently rejected offers from Turkey and had expressed a desire to move to the Premier League. However, interest from the two-time European champions could force him to reconsider his plans. Juventus paid around 20 million euros for Thuram, and his market value has roughly doubled over the last two years, meaning PSG would likely need to spend about 40 million to sign the younger son of legendary French defender Lilian Thuram.

Should Thuram leave Turin, Juventus' preferred replacement is Leon Goretzka. The experienced German international is said to be highly regarded by Luciano Spalletti. With Goretzka in the squad, Spalletti would have greater tactical flexibility and more options in midfield, thanks to the former Bayern Munich player's versatility. Meanwhile, new Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali is heavily involved in moving on players who are not central to Spalletti's plans. The Bianconeri must record between 12–13 million in capital gains by the end of the month in order to comply with UEFA Financial Fair Play requirements.
Fortunately for Juventus, there are several possible solutions. Potential departures include Fabio Miretti, Federico Gatti, Michele Di Gregorio, and Diego Coppola. There are also two heavyweight names on the market — Gleison Bremer and Andrea Cambiaso — although Juventus are waiting for major offers and do not expect anything concrete to arrive in the next few days. There have also been developments regarding Emiliano Martínez. Aston Villa have lowered their asking price for the Argentine goalkeeper. They are now reportedly seeking 10 million euros plus a few million more in bonuses, compared to their previous demand of 15 million plus add-ons. That revised valuation is considerably more attractive to Juventus, and negotiations could now begin in earnest.
