The expected departures are part of a broader restructuring plan as the club seeks to strengthen key areas

FKF Premier League side, KCB FC, are preparing for a significant squad rebuild ahead of the 2026-2027 season, with at least 11 players set to leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of the month.

The Bankers are looking to reshape their squad following a disappointing campaign in which they finished seventh in the FKF Premier League standings with 48 points, falling short of their ambitions.

Among the high-profile departures are experienced campaigners Francis Kahata, Boniface Omondi, and Clyde Senaji.

Goalkeeper Bonphas Munyasa is also set to move on after his deal runs out.

The Bankers will also part ways with foreign trio Tedja Wanumbi, Fadhil Masoud Mwanyimvua, and Yafeesi Mubiru, all of whom joined the club before the start of last season.

After failing to make the desired impact, the club has opted not to renew their contracts beyond June.

The list of players heading for the exit door further includes seasoned striker Francis Kahiro, wingers December Kisaka and Rodgers Angal, as well as defender and captain Nashon Alembi.

The expected departures are part of a broader restructuring plan as the club seeks to strengthen key areas and assemble a more competitive squad capable of challenging for top honours next season.

Club officials are understood to be actively exploring the transfer market, with several new arrivals expected as KCB aim to bounce back from an underwhelming campaign and mount a stronger push in the upcoming season.

Players set to leave KCB FC: Bonphas Munyasa, Boniface Omondi, Tedja Wanumbi, Yafeesi Mubiru, Fadhil Masoud Mwanyimvua, Francis Kahiro, Francis Kahata, December Kisaka, Rodgers Angal, Clyde Senaji and Nashon Alembi.
