Former Kenya U20 assistant coach Hesbon Nyabinge is on the brink of returning to Kenya's top-flight touchlines after revealing he has received three offers to take charge as a head coach ahead of the 2026/27 FKF Premier League season.

The CAF A licensed tactician, whose coaching journey has largely been defined by assistant coaching roles and youth development, disclosed that negotiations with the interested clubs are ongoing and expressed confidence that his next destination will be confirmed before the new campaign gets underway.
Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Nyabinge said the opportunities represent the next step in a coaching career that has steadily evolved through grassroots football, school competitions and elite-level experience.
"I have three offers already at the moment that we are discussing, and hopefully, before the season starts, I will be at the helm of a top-flight club. So yes, next season I will be back at the top level of football as a head coach," he said.
The impending move signals a significant milestone for the experienced coach, who has spent the last few years investing in player development through secondary school football and national youth setups, where he most recently served as Kakamega High School head coach.
Having built his credentials away from the spotlight, Nyabinge believes the time is right to transition into a senior managerial role.
"I have been in the lower league, which is the development side of football, together with school games, and this is my last year at that level of school football and development.
I am taking up a solid challenge heading into the new season. I have largely served as an assistant coach while working in development, and now I am taking a bold step to embrace the responsibility that comes with being a head coach," he added.
Nyabinge boasts a wealth of coaching experience across both domestic and international football.
He previously served as assistant coach at Western Stima before joining Kakamega Homeboyz in the same capacity, where he established himself as one of the country's respected tacticians.
His résumé also includes head coaching spells at West Kenya Sugar and Palos FC, while an overseas stint with Laos-based Idsea Champasak further broadened his tactical and managerial experience.
Away from club football, Nyabinge has been a key figure in Kenya's youth development structures. As assistant coach of the Kenya U20 national team, he played an instrumental role in nurturing emerging talent, complementing years of dedicated service in school football, where he has helped shape the careers of numerous young players.
Widely regarded as a coach with a keen eye for talent and strong player-management skills, Nyabinge's anticipated return to the top flight comes after years of patiently building his coaching profile.
Although he declined to reveal the identities of the three clubs pursuing his signature, the coming weeks are expected to determine the next chapter of his coaching career.
