Ivory Coast head coach Emerse Faé has unveiled a 23-man squad for the final round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, with Manchester United winger Amad Diallo among the notable inclusions.

The Elephants are set for decisive back-to-back fixtures against Seychelles and Kenya that will determine their fate in Group F.
Diallo, who has six international caps, makes a return to the national fold after nearly a year out.
The 22-year-old last featured on 10 September 2024, coming off the bench in Ivory Coast’s 2-0 win over Chad in the AFCON 2025 qualifiers.
Faé has also recalled influential stars, including Al-Ahli (Saudi Arabia) midfielder Franck Kessié, Nottingham Forest’s Ibrahim Sangaré, Villarreal winger Nicolas Pépé, and Aston Villa forward Evann Guessand.
The squad further boasts 2023 AFCON Best Young Player Simon Adingra, Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Emmanuel Agbadou, Sébastien Haller of FC Utrecht, and Tanzania’s Young Africans midfielder Pacôme Zouzoua.

With only the group winners guaranteed an automatic ticket to the 2026 World Cup, Faé’s men cannot afford any slip-ups.
Victories over Seychelles and Kenya would seal their fourth appearance at the global showpiece, having previously featured in 2006, 2010, and 2014.
The Elephants will first travel to Mauritius to face The Pirates on Friday, 15 October, before hosting Harambee Stars at the Stade Olympique Alassane Ouattara in Abidjan on Tuesday, 14 October.
In the reverse fixtures,Kenya held Ivory Coast to a goalless draw staged in Lilongwe, Malawi.
