The clash holds significance for both teams, each looking to bounce back after being held to draws in their previous league outings.
Bidco were frustrated by newly promoted APS Bomet in a goalless draw, while Tusker shared the spoils with Kakamega Homeboyz in a 1-1 stalemate.
The spotlight, however, falls on Tusker, who started the season sluggishly but has begun to find its rhythm.
The 12-time champions are unbeaten in five matches, collecting two wins and three draws, a run that has seen them climb to seventh place on nine points.

Head coach Charles Okere believes the turnaround reflects a renewed sense of unity and resilience within the squad.
“We’ve worked hard to regain our balance,” Okere said. “The boys have shown real character and spirit. Even in tough moments, they keep pushing.”
Tusker’s revival has been anchored by the lively partnership between Dennis Oalo and Erick Kapaito, whose chemistry has injected fluidity and purpose into the Brewers’ attack.
Behind them, goalkeeper Brian Opondo has delivered assured performances, helping the team remain competitive even under pressure.
Their opponents, Bidco, have been one of the league’s most disciplined and organized sides this season.
Under Anthony Akhulia, the Thika-based club has already claimed impressive scalps against Gor Mahia, Nairobi United, and Ulinzi Stars, which shows their growing reputation against tough, well-drilled competitors.
Akhulia anticipates a tactical, closely contested encounter.
“Tusker have regained rhythm, but that doesn’t change our approach,” he said. “We respect their form, not fear it. We prepare with clarity and trust our structure.”
He stressed that Bidco’s success will hinge on discipline and patience.
“When we stay compact, stay patient, and take our chances, we can compete with anyone. Matches like this are decided by one moment, a transition, a second ball, or a lapse. We must be alert from the first whistle.”
A win for Bidco would see them move joint top of the table alongside Kakamega Homeboyz, while maximum points for Tusker would lift them to joint third with AFC Leopards, tightening the race at the summit.
