The Brewers come into the Bidco match on the back of a five-game unbeaten run since October
Tusker FC head coach Charles Okere says his side must apply themselves rightly when they come up against a tough Bidco United at Kasarani Annex on Friday, 7 November.

Okere, who was a man under pressure at the beginning of the new season, has in recent weeks enjoyed a period of calm, with his Brewers side on a run of five matches without defeat since October.
After two back-to-back wins against Murang’a Seal and Kariobangi Sharks, Tusker let a lead slip on Saturday, 2 November, to share the spoils with Kakamega Homeboyz, but Okere views the upturn in form as evidence that his message is finally coming across to the players, and expects the high standards to continue in Round Eight.
“The team has shown steady improvement, and the confidence is clearly growing,” he told Tusker TV. “We are better now in terms of balance, energy, and understanding. The results have helped to build belief within the group."
Having raised concerns about the team’s rearguard dating to pre-season, Okere is now seeing the green shoots of his desired attributes of solidity, resilience and tenacity.
“Defensively, we have become more solid,” Okere said. “The players have worked hard on our shape and communication, and that has made a big difference. We are now conceding fewer goals and controlling matches better.”

Okere’s next call to action comes against Anthony Akhulia’s Bidco, who lie two points above his side despite playing a game less.
“Bidco are a very compact side; they defend in numbers and are well organised,” Okere said of the team he picked six points from last season.
“They have a very good squad and a really capable technical bench, as well. It is not a team that you can take lightly.
They have players who can hurt you on the transition, and are very strong on set pieces. We have to approach the game with total concentration and be ready to match their intensity.”
Bidco come into the game in decent nick, having only lost once this season, and seeking their first win over Tusker since January 2024.
