Singapore 7s men’s pools announced for 2025

After securing back-to-back Cup wins in Perth, Vancouver, and Hong Kong, Argentina has been seeded at the top of Pool A, alongside Great Britain and South Africa

Kenya's 7s national team, Shujaa, has learned about their opponents ahead of the sixth leg of the HSBC World Rugby 7s Series, Singapore 7s, slated for Saturday, 6 to Sunday, 8 April, at the Singapore National Stadium.

The Kenyans have been placed in Pool B, where they will tackle familiar opponents Ireland and France.

They met Ireland during the Dubai 7s ninth-place playoff, where they defeated them 21-7 to proceed to the ninth-place final.

The Kenyans also faced France during their Hong Kong 7s final pool match, where the Frenchmen narrowly won 14-7.

In Hong Kong, Shujaa started their campaign brilliantly, seeing off Spain 19-0 before losing 12-7 to Great Britain.

They would then fall 14-7 to France to drop to the ninth-place playoff.

At this stage, they defeated the USA 17-10 to advance to the final, where they narrowly lost 19-17 to South Africa to clinch 10th place.

They will be aiming to bounce back from that performance.

This year, the tournament format has been shortened, with pool winners earning a direct semifinal spot.

Additionally, this event will determine the League Phase Champions.

In Pool C, Australia, Spain, and Uruguay will battle for a spot in the semifinals.
