Debutant Jackson Siketi starred in the triumph, bagging a brace to cap off an impressive display.

Heading into the match, Kabras had won all nine of their previous semi-finals since earning promotion, seeing off opponents such as Nakuru, Kenya Harlequin (twice), Strathmore Leos (twice), Homeboyz RFC (twice), Mwamba, and Nondies.

Determined to maintain that impeccable record, the Sugarmen showed their class yet again.

Kabras wasted no time asserting their dominance, breaking the deadlock early after a patient build-up created an overload.

Ntabeni Dukisa combined well with teenage sensation Siketi, who sliced through the defense to score the opening try.

However, Dukisa’s conversion attempt went wide, keeping the lead at 5-0.

Despite their early dominance, Kabras struggled to capitalize fully on their chances, and Nondies made their first real attacking foray count with a penalty, trimming the deficit to 5-3.

The Sugarmen responded with a well-executed move that saw Griffin Chao finish out wide, restoring their advantage.

Kabras continued to press but were hampered by multiple penalties in the opposition’s danger zone, missing crucial scoring opportunities.

Nonetheless, Dukisa added a penalty just before halftime to extend the lead.

Nondies’ discipline let them down as Ryan Odua received a yellow card before Stormy Odhiambo was sent off for a high tackle on Ephraim Oduor.

Kabras almost added another try before the break, but Walter Okoth’s effort was disallowed for a forward pass, leaving the halftime score at 13-3.

Kabras came out firing in the second half, racking up 32 unanswered points in a ruthless attacking display. Dukisa started the onslaught with a penalty to push the score to 16-3.

A brilliant offloading sequence then saw Patrice Lumumba dive over for a try, which Dukisa converted from a tight angle.

Nondies managed a penalty to bring the score to 23-6, but that was the last time they troubled the scoreboard.

Alfred Orege added another try, followed by a center-post finish from Collins Indeche, who made an immediate impact upon returning from suspension. Eric Cantona, replacing Dukisa, added the extras.

Siketi then wrapped up the commanding win in style, racing down the right before cutting inside for his second try.

Cantona converted, sealing the 45-6 rout and confirming Kabras' place in yet another Kenya Cup final.

With this emphatic win, Kabras will now look to defend their title in the final.

Standing in their way are Menengai Oilers, who booked their spot after dispatching KCB Rugby 31-8 in the other semi-final at KCB Sports Club, Ruaraka.

The finals will be played on Saturday, 19 April at the ASK Kakamega Showground.
