
Enterprise Cup: Top guns Kabras Sugar and KCB advance to semifinals

Homeboyz and Impala Saracens also secured their place in the last four alongside the pre-tournament favourites
The rugby powerhouse duo of Kabras Sugar RFC and KCB RFC continued with their quest of clinch the 2022 Enterprise Cup as they breezed to the semifinals of the knockout competition with easy wins against opponents tasked to stop them in the quarterfinal stage.
In the four matches played on Saturday, the two big guns proved to be no match for their opponents as they broke no sweat in getting to the next round. Here is a recap of how the action unfolded with Homeboyz and Impala Saracens joining the semifinal party.
KCB 87-12 Blak Blad
The Bankers showed their pedigree on Saturday afternoon at the KCB Sports Club as they devoured Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad to pieces in what seized to be a contest but a display of prowess from the Curtis Olago coached side.
In a blistering performance, the five time cup champions scored 40 points in the first and would unleash their beast mode in the second one as they bagged 47 to safely secure their passage to the last four.
Kabras 34-17 Nondescripts
Being the defending cup champions and the reigning Kenya Cup winners, Kabras moved one step closer to achieving a season double as they brought Nondies’ promising run in the knockout competition to an end in the match played at the ASK Grounds in Kakamega.

Impala Saracens 20-16 Top Fry Nakuru
Despite having to come to terms with the fact that they will not be in the Kenya Cup next season following their relegation, Impala Saracens showed incredible character as they came from trailing 5-13 at half time to winning the match 20-16 in a thrilling last 8 encounter staged at the Impala Grounds.
Homeboyz vs Mwamba (walkover)
Homeboyz advanced to the semifinals of the cup competition without even needing to play a game as their opponents Mwamba withdrew from the competition, granting the team the easiest of passages to the next round.
Following the quarterfinals, Kabras will now face Homeboyz in the semis with KCB taking on Impala Saracens for a place in the cup finals.
