The Curtis Olago coached side left no stone unturned in the domineering quarter final performance.

A first half hat-trick of tries from winger Isaac Njoroge ended up setting KCB for an easy and dominating 87-12 win against an off colour Blak Blad in a quarter final Enterprise Cup encounter staged at the KCB Sports Club on Saturday afternoon.

Billed as the prematch favourites and one of the contenders to go all the way in winning the competition, the five time cup champions did not disappoint as they breezed their way to the semifinals in a performance that they did not even need to get out of second gear.

By the halftime interval, the Curtis Olago coached side, who are looking to win the trophy to atone for failure to defend their Kenya Cup title, led 40-5 with the Kenyatta University side struggling to make there presence felt in the game, if any.

The Bankers set the tone for the bloodbath performance inside the opening quarter of an hour as they landed three tries from Njoroge, Wilfred Waswa and scrum half Samuel Asati, flyhalf Shaban Ahmed nailing two conversions of the three as the home side went 17-0 up.

Against the run of play, the varsity side pounced on a rare mistake from KCB as they stole possession before running all the way for their only try of the game.

That little breakthrough for Blak Blad appeared to have rubbed KCB the wrong way as the team pumped in a whooping seventy points with Blad failing to find anything on the board.

Late on, a superb grabber kick from Blad saw the team find their second try that was converted but Vincent Onyala wrapped up the scoring for his team with a late converted try that got the game to a full time score of 87-12.
