
Mozzart Kenya Cup: All set for epic men and women volleyball semifinals

The tournament is in its second edition after a successful run in 2025
The Mozzart Kenya Cup 2026 enters its second day with both men's and women's semi finals taking center stage as the tournament enters the money category.
The tournament, which is in its second edition, will see quarter final winners gather at the Kasarani Indoor Arena today, Saturday 25 July, all seeking to book a place in the final.

In the men's category, defending champions GSU will lock horns with league champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in a fierce encounter that will crown the day from 1600 hrs.
GSU will be keen to retain the title they bagged in its maiden edition at the expense of the in-form KPA.
The law enforcers secured a place in the last eight after a 3-0 win over Equity Bank with comfortable set scores in a match played on Friday, 24 July.
KPA, on the other hand, produced a commendable comeback to secure 3-1 win over 2025 finalists KDF.
©Gad IsaacKDF had taken the lead, bagging the first set, before The Dockers battled to highly contested second and third sets with 30-28 and 29-27 set scores, and capped it with a comfortable 25-17 set score in the fourth frame.
In the other match of the day, Chema Volleyball Club will take on giants Kenya Prisons from 1400 hrs in a battle to book the first final slot.
Chema, who are making their debut in the tournament, cruised to the last four after a 3-0 demolition of KAPU in the quarter final.
Kenya Prisons, on the other hand, secured their slot after whitewashing APK 3-0 in the first match of Saturday.
The match will be a repeat of the league's semi final, where the two sides tied over two legs, before Chema won 3-1 in the third match to book a place in the finals.
In the Women category, Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) will face DCI in the opening semi final match from 1000 hrs, before holders KCB take on Kenya Prisons Women from noon.
