Kenya Police Bullets top the standings with 15 points, one ahead of second-placed Trinity Starlets, while Vihiga sit third with 11 points.
The FKF Women Premier League match week seven continues today, Sunday 30 November, with the final fixture pitting Ulinzi Starlets against Kayole Starlets at the Ulinzi Sports Complex from 11.00 am. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides.
Kenya Police Bullets top the standings with 15 points, one ahead of second-placed Trinity Starlets, while Vihiga sit third with 11 points.
Ulinzi, currently fourth, have posted mixed results in recent weeks. They beat Madira Soccer Assassins 3-0 in their last outing, which followed a narrow 1-0 loss to Trinity Starlets. Sixth-placed Kayole have also experienced inconsistent form, recording a loss, a draw, and a win in their last three matches, including a 4-1 victory over Kisped Queens in their previous match.
Ulinzi will be seeking consistency and a winning rhythm as they continue their title push. Head coach Collins Ochieng will be banking on home advantage to see off the resilient Kayole side, who have impressed in their debut top-flight season.
Kayole head coach Mary Adhiambo believes her players have the quality and mentality needed to challenge Ulinzi.
“I am impressed with the quality we have. It has been evident in our past matches, and together with our winning mentality, we are ready for Ulinzi. They are a good side and so are we. We will maintain our strategy and plan regardless of what they bring,” Adhiambo told the club’s media.
