The 12-time FKF Premier League champions confirmed through their official website that both defenders had committed their futures to the club, with each extending his stay by a further year, as the Brewers intensify preparations for what promises to be a demanding campaign on both the domestic and continental fronts.
The latest renewals come just hours after Tusker secured the futures of midfielder Fabian Adikiny and forward Ian Simiyu on two-year contracts, underlining the club's determination to retain the core of the squad that lifted the 2025/26 Mozzart Bet Cup.
For Teka, the extension marks another milestone in a journey that has seen him grow into one of the club's most influential players.
Having joined Tusker from Kariobangi Sharks four seasons ago, the hard-tackling defender is now set to enter his fifth season at Ruaraka.
The centre-back has established himself as a mainstay in Tusker's defence, with his consistency, leadership and commanding displays earning him the role of second assistant captain.
Teka was instrumental in Tusker's successful Mozzart Bet Cup campaign, playing a key role as the Brewers defeated Kenya Police FC 2-1 in the final to lift the trophy and secure qualification for the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup.
Speaking after signing his new deal, the defender admitted that winning silverware and earning the opportunity to compete in continental football had always been among his biggest ambitions.
"I am delighted to have committed a further year to the team. My dream since I joined was to win a major trophy and play continental football, and I am glad that we have achieved this. This is the reward for the hard work we put in to win the Cup, and I am sure we will have a better campaign next season," said Teka.
Meanwhile, Oduor has also earned a one-year extension after impressing during his debut season at the club.
The towering defender arrived at Tusker at the start of the 2025/26 campaign on a two-year deal following spells with Bidco United and KCB, and quickly cemented his place in the starting line-up.
Since French tactician Julien Mette took charge, Oduor has become a key figure in the heart of defence, with his composure, aerial dominance and no-nonsense style making him one of the first names on the team sheet.
The former Bidco United defender expressed his gratitude after extending his stay, saying the new contract reflects the club's faith in his abilities while providing him with another opportunity to continue his development.
"This is a really huge boost of confidence from the team to offer me another year on my contract, and I am really grateful. My first season was good, though not as perfect as I would have wished, but now I have another opportunity to show what I can do. I not only have the chance to continue growing locally, but also on the continental stage as we prepare to play in the CAF Confederation Cup," Oduor said.
Tusker further revealed that negotiations are ongoing with several other members of the squad, as the club works towards retaining the backbone of the team ahead of the new season.
The East African Breweries Limited-backed outfit is keen to maintain stability within the squad as it prepares for a hectic 2026/27 calendar that will include an assault on the FKF Premier League title—ending a six-year championship drought, defending the Mozzart Bet Cup crown and representing Kenya in the CAF Confederation Cup.
By securing the futures of Teka, Oduor, Adikiny and Simiyu in quick succession, Tusker have sent a clear statement of intent as they continue assembling a squad capable of challenging for honors both at home, and across the continent.
