The 2022-2023 season is scheduled to end on Sunday 18th June.

After the nullification of the 2021-2022 Football Kenya Federation Women Premier League, reigning champions Thika Queens will begin their title defense against Trans Nzoia Falcons.

The women’s season is expected to begin on Saturday 3 December, a week later after the men’s league and scheduled to end on Sunday 18th June.

The FKF National Executive Committee nullified last season's leagues and said no team will be promoted or relegated after the league was run by the FKF Transition Committee.

Former champions Vihiga Queens who will be looking to recapture their title will start the journey with a clash against Kangemi Ladies.

Kangemi Ladies are one of the sides that warmly welcomed the cancellation of last season after they finished bottom and were to be relegated.

Ulinzi Starlets who have been a force to reckon with since their debut campaign back in 2020 will open their season with a duel against Zetech Sparks.

Gaspo will face Nakuru City Queens in their opening match while Wadadia will host Kayole Starlets in their first game of the season.
