Round One will serve up some tantalizing encounters.

Just as fate would have it, reigning league champions Tusker FC will kick start their title defense against Kakamega Homeboyz after Football Kenya Federation (FKF) released the 2022-2023 FKF Premier League fixtures.

The two teams staged one of the most interesting title races in recent history as the Brewers overturned the massive lead held by the Kakamega-based side to claim the title only for the season to be annulled.

Record Kenya Champions Gor Mahia will commence the season with a clash against Nzoia Sugar as the season has been penciled to start on Saturday 19 November.

Round One will serve up some tantalizing encounters as AFC Leopards will travel to face Ulinzi Stars while Bandari who are revitalized under head coach Anthony 'Modo' Kimani will face Sofapaka.

Big spenders Kenya Police FC who boast of an experienced squad will start their quest of landing their maiden league title against KCB who have come close in recent seasons.

The biggest clash in Kenya's football calender, the Mashemeji Derby pitting eternal rivals Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards will be played on Saturday 4 February with the second leg being slated for Sunday 14 May.

Both Tusker and Kakamega Homeboyz have a fiendish opening fixture list as Robert Matano will come up against Homeboyz, Nairobi City Stars and AFC Leopards while Homeboyz face Tusker, KCB and Kenya Police.
