The Kisii-based club confirmed the signing on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, hailing the 22-year-old as a significant addition to their squad.
Odoyo joined after his two-year stint at Tusker came to an end, with the Brewers opting not to extend his contract.
"Daddy CDM brings grit, composure, and experience that will strengthen our engine room as we chase greatness this season. Welcome home, Davy,” Shabana wrote in their announcement.
A product of the Tusker youth system, Odoyo becomes Shabana’s fourth confirmed new arrival. He joins centre-back Justus Munika from Naivas FC, defender Wycliffe Omondi from Nairobi City Stars, and midfielder Biron 'Ngolo' Otieno from Kariobangi Sharks.
Shabana’s transfer business is far from over, with the club also linked to Murang’a Seal winger Henry Obino, KCB trio Derrick Otieno, Daniel Kiprono and Victor Omondi, as well as Gor Mahia goalkeeper Caleb Omondi, who has been training with the side.
Meanwhile, the club has released defenders Mark Okola, Brian Marvin and Elvis Osok, who has since rejoined Posta Rangers together with midfielder Shem Odinga, as part of their squad restructuring.
Shabana are determined to build on last season’s fifth-place finish, where they amassed 53 points in a remarkable turnaround from their challenging FKFPL return, where they survived in the closing stages of that season.
