Bayern Munich’s main focus in this transfer window remains the pursuit of Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade, but that hasn’t stopped the club from keeping a close eye on potential reinforcements out wide. And now, an intriguing name is back on the radar — one that’s sure to stir excitement among fans.

Once the face of Manchester United and considered untouchable, the England international has seen his status shift dramatically. Tensions with coach Ruben Amorim led to a mid-season loan to Aston Villa, where Rashford rediscovered his form and confidence.
The versatile forward — capable of playing both on the left wing and centrally — aligns well with Bayern’s tactical needs. He now features on the club’s so-called “longlist,” trailing marquee targets like Bradley Barcola, Nico Williams, Rafael Leao, and Luis Diaz. BILD previously reported Bayern’s interest in Diaz specifically.
Scouts are already well-versed in Rashford’s game and the financial implications of a potential deal. Manchester United is reportedly seeking around 45 million euros for him, and with no real future left at Old Trafford, a move seems likely.
Despite sporting director Max Eberl’s insistence on a tight budget, Bayern may still push for a pure left winger — whether or not Woltemade arrives. And Rashford, without question, fits that bill.
