The 24-year-old has scored five goals in the last four games for Naibois
Nairobi United head coach Godfrey 'Solo' Oduor says the club has not done anything unusual regarding the hot form of striker Benson Omala, but is constantly challenging him to be hungrier, and not to sink in a comfort zone.

Oduor, speaking ahead of his side’s fixture against Sofapaka at Kasarani Annex (1300 EAT) on Saturday, 14 March, praised his marksman who has settled seamlessly, but urged him to keep wanting to score more.
“Benson is an experienced player and he gets goals, so our job is only to keep him in a place where he is hungry to score more,” Oduor said of his January signing, who has scored in the team’s last three FKF Premier League matches.
Omala, 24, joined Naibois in the mid-season transfer window after parting ways with Cambodian side Visakha FC in December.
His previous stint abroad saw him play in Lebanon for Al Safa SC, months after bagging the FKFPL 'Golden Boot' award with record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia.
Given his resume, Oduor is insistent Omala keeps showing up for Nairobi United, who are only in their maiden season in the top-tier.
“There is nothing much that we are doing, other than getting him to be motivated, and getting his body right to do the required task,” Oduor said of Omala.
“We do not want him to get into a comfort zone, where he has already made a name for himself. For example at this moment we are telling him that he can get a hat trick, and I think that is playing a role in keeping him motivated.”
Omala’s last outing for the club saw him bag a brace against BMC All Stars in the Mozzart Bet Cup, a game that Oduor thinks will have his side ready to perform on Saturday.
“I expect a good challenge from Sofapaka, but I also expect us to be ready given how we played in our last match,” Oduor said of Naibois, who will once again miss the services of Ovella Ochieng and Brian Mzee. “We will need to be urgent once more, and treat the game as any big game we have played before.”
On the positive news, the head coach hinted that forward Michael Karamor was in line to get some minutes over the weekend, marking his return from an injury that has kept him out of the team since early February.
