Hours after the Dane was sacked from Tottenham's bench, the media in England started revealing some shocking details from the London team's locker room
Earlier today, Thomas Frank was fired by Tottenham Hotspur after only seven months in the dugout and having led the London club in just 38 games. The Dane recorded 13 victories, 10 draws, and 15 defeats, left the team in 16th place in the Premier League, and won just 1.29 points per match.
Frank's struggles with Spurs started a long time ago, and, apart from his subpar results, the scandal involving an Arsenal cup made the fans even angrier and further cost the tactician their support. It's fair to say that they were looking forward to his departure.
However, just a couple of hours following Tottenham's official announcement, the English media began revealing some pretty shocking details from the locker room. And guess what - they are related to Arsenal. Or, better said, Frank's apparent minor obsession with them.
Namely, as Daily Mail reports, a source from the Spurs' locker room disclosed to The Telegraph that players were getting annoyed with the Dane, as he repeatedly mentioned Tottenham's fiercest rivals and praised them?!
🚨 One source told Telegraph Sport: “Thomas Frank was constantly going on to the players about Arsenal. Even before & after the game at the Emirates, he was telling them how good Arsenal were. The feeling among some was very much ‘just shut up about Arsenal’.” ❌🤐 [@Matt_Law_DT] pic.twitter.com/J5qsTAxDAk

"He was constantly going on to the players about Arsenal and they quickly got sick of it. Even before and after the game at the Emirates, he was telling them how good Arsenal were. The feeling among some was very much "just shut up about Arsenal", the source revealed.
Now, we'll probably never know if Frank is indeed the Gunners fan, but if the "cup case" was just a coincidence, this latest information will undoubtedly raise some eyebrows.
Either way, the Dane might have some explaining to do in the days to come.
