Gor Mahia will have the chance to stretch their lead at the summit to six points
After matches on Friday and Saturday, the FKF Premier League resumes today, Sunday 22 February, with three fixtures lined up across different venues.
Kenyan giants Gor Mahia will be in action against KCB FC, while fans will also be treated to the National Police Service derby pitting Police FC against APS Bomet.
In the other fixture of the day, military side Ulinzi Stars travel to face Mara Sugar in what promises to be an exciting afternoon of football.
Ahead of today’s matches, Gor Mahia sit at the top of the league table with 43 points, three ahead of their archrivals AFC Leopards in second place, while Shabana complete the top three with 37 points.
At the bottom of the table, Sofapaka remain rooted with 14 points and are joined in the relegation zone by Bidco United and APS Bomet on 16 and 18 points respectively.
Gor Mahia vs KCB FC
Gor Mahia will have the chance to stretch their lead at the summit to six points when they host KCB at Nyayo National Stadium from 4.00pm in the day’s headline fixture.
K Ogalo head into the clash in fine form, having won their last five matches and remaining unbeaten in their previous 10 outings.
They face a KCB side that has posted mixed results in their last five games, recording two wins, two losses and a draw against Kariobangi Sharks in their most recent match, leaving them eighth on the log with 29 points.
Police FC vs APS Bomet
At the Police Sacco Stadium, defending champions Police FC will take on APS Bomet in the National Police Service derby from 2.00pm.
This will be the second meeting between the two sides, with Police edging the first leg 1 0.
Police have endured a below-par season by their standards and currently sit seventh with 30 points, 13 behind league leaders Gor Mahia. APS Bomet, meanwhile, are battling relegation in their debut top flight campaign.
With both teams desperate for maximum points, the encounter promises to be fiercely contested.

Mara Sugar vs Ulinzi Stars
Mara Sugar will lock horns with Ulinzi Stars at Awendo Green Stadium from 2.00pm.
Both sides head into the match on poor runs. The Sugar Millers are on a seven match winless streak and sit 13th with 21 points, while the 2010 champions are winless in their last five matches and lie 15th with 18 points, the same tally as APS Bomet in the relegation zone.
