He played a crucial role in the club’s historic 2023 Mozzart Bet Cup triumph, where Homeboyz secured their first-ever top-flight silverware after edging Tusker FC 1–0 in the July 1 final.
The 24-year-old defender first began his career with GDC Nakuru before joining Homeboyz in September 2021.
At the Kakamega-based club, he established himself as one of the league’s most dependable players, earning recognition not only for his defensive solidity but also for his attacking contributions.
Notably, he finished last season as the team’s second top scorer with four goals, helping Abana Beingo secure an impressive third-place finish with 58 points.
Eshihanda’s exit marks the second major departure from Homeboyz in recent weeks, following the transfer of top scorer Moses Shumah to Zambian champions Power Dynamos FC.
At Pamba Jiji, the defender reunites with familiar faces, including former Homeboyz head coach Francis Baraza and goalkeeper coach John Waw, who were both part of the technical bench he worked with at Abana Beingo.
His arrival is expected to strengthen the Tanzanian side’s backline as they prepare for the upcoming NBC Premier League campaign.
