Los Colchoneros' Alexander Sorloth scored the earliest-ever La Liga hat-trick, netting all four goals in the opening half an hour of the game in Atletico's 4-0 triumph over Real Sociedad

Moreover, the Norwegian completed a hat-trick in the first 11 minutes, becoming the scorer of the earliest hat-trick in the Spanish top tier's history, breaking records from 1929 and 1945! Finally, it took Atletico's "Viking" only three minutes and 57 seconds to find the net thrice, as his first and third goals came in the seventh and 11th minute, respectively.
Thanks to this victory, Diego Simeone's men almost secured the third spot, while Sociedad seriously jeopardized their European ambitions for the next season, as they are now trailing four points to the UEFA Conference League zone.
