Austine Odhiambo's brace takes him to seven goals scored this season
Austine Odhiambo scored twice as FKF Premier League leaders Gor Mahia hammered Posta Rangers 4-0 in a Round 23 fixture played at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos.
Following Tusker’s 2-1 win over Muhoroni Youth earlier in the day, the onus was on K’Ogalo to reinforce their stranglehold on top of the table, a job they delivered comprehensively to extend their superiority to their closest challengers to 10 points.
Match Report
Any rumblings surrounding Gor Mahia’s exit to little-known Denmak FC in last weekend’s Mozzart Bet Cup Round of 32 were quelled almost immediately in this game when league top-scorer Benson Omala connected a Bryson Wangai header to give the Green Army a 1-0 lead inside the first minute.
Shariff Musa and Rooney Onyango then came close to finding the second for K'Ogalo but the turning point in the match was witnessed in the 42nd minute when visiting keeper John Njau was sent off for a tackle on Omala, with Kelvin Opiyo coming on as a substitute.

Holding a single goal advantage through the break, Gor Mahia got their second in the 57th minute through Sylvester Owino's tap-in from a corner before Austine Odhiambo scored in the 80th and 87th minute to seal the rout on John Kamau's side.
The two goals for Odhiambo meant that his goal tally is up to seven this season, with his club hitting the 50 point mark after 23 games, and 10 clear of the rest with just 13 matches left.

At Police Sacco Grounds, Kariobangi Sharks failed to make much grounds near the bottom of the log as they settled for a barren draw with Nairobi City Stars.

The result means that Sharks maintain their 15th position on the log and just three points above Muhoroni Youth who occupy the promotion-relegation zone, while City Stars dropped to fourth.
At Thika, Emmanuel Mogaka's late finish secured a point for Bidco United as they drew 1-1 with visiting Sofapaka.
Baron Ochieng had given Zedekiah Otieno's side the lead after 56 minutes with a well-taken freekick before Mogaka connected a fine pass from John Kelwish's cross from the left to make it 1-1.
The point moves Sofapaka a place up to 13th with 26 points while Bidco remain ninth with 31 points.
