Could the Premier League be on the verge of another major transfer headline? Reports coming out of England suggest that Arsenal are eyeing a move for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, currently shining for Paris Saint-Germain.
The Georgian winger is believed to be part of a broader summer rebuild planned by Mikel Arteta and the club’s hierarchy. With financial rules tightening, Arsenal are reportedly ready to part ways with at least one senior player to create room for reinforcements.
🚨 A deal for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia would be an incredibly difficult deal for Arsenal to pull off & Paris Saint-Germain do NOT want to sell. However, if that changes the Gunners would jump at the opportunity, and are in a strong position financially to do so. 🕵️‍♂️🇬🇪 [@MattVerri] pic.twitter.com/ido9sExav6

Within that context, Kvaratskhelia is viewed as someone capable of lifting the squad to a higher level. Encouragingly for the London side, there are indications that the player’s camp would be open to a switch.
Still, any deal would be far from straightforward. Kvaratskhelia only arrived in Paris in January after his successful spell with SSC Napoli, where he won the Scudetto before making an €85 million move to the French capital. He is under contract until 2029 and made an instant impression, even playing a key role in delivering a long-awaited UEFA Champions League triumph in his debut season.
Because of that long-term deal, Arsenal would likely need to invest heavily, with the winger’s value estimated around €90 million. Paris Saint-Germain, meanwhile, have little desire to sell. Kvaratskhelia has continued to deliver this season, contributing 12 goals and seven assists in 37 appearances, and is reportedly regarded as “untouchable” by the club’s Qatari ownership.
That said, a truly massive bid — one exceeding €100 million — could still test Paris’ resolve and potentially bring them to the negotiating table.
