Kenya were overpowered in the lopsided final.

Following the 36-0 whitewash of Kenya Simbas, Namibian full-back Divan Rossouw has revealed that their kicking game was perfectly executed in the clash.

Namibia punched a ticket to the 2023 Rugby World Cup with the victory as Kenya dropped to the Repechage qualifier where they are set to face Portugal, Tonga/Hong Kong, Chile/USA.

Rossouw who plies his trade with South African side Vodacom Blue Bulls was ecstatic after sealing another place in the World Cup and emphasized the importance of their kicking game against Kenya.

“It's an honor and the boys are really excited to go to the World Cup, it means a lot for us we will definitely be working very hard to get the first win at the World Cup so all the preparations are going into that,

We made a few mistakes at the start, but at the end we stuck to the plan and everything paid off. The kicking game came through and everything was good in the end,” said Rossouw.

Namibia proved too strong for Kenya eventually as the Simbas rarely visited the Namibian five-meter line as they overpowered them in almost every facet of play.

The Southern Africa nation will now join New Zealand, France, Italy, and Uruguay in Pool A.
