The clash is slated for a 3 PM kick-off at the RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 19 February.

Following another disappointing season where they will not contest for the playoffs, Kenya Harlequin will hope to halt their woeful run against Nakuru RFC who stare at the shackles of relegation in the penultimate Kenya Cup clash.

Nakuru however have fate in their own hands as they sit a point above relegation places with Impala Saracens and Nondescripts sitting in the red zone with 11 points.

Quins on the other hand are enduring a torrid run of form having lost their last six games to Blakblad, KCB, Kabras Sugar, Strathmore Leos, Menengai Oilers and Homeboyz.

Speaking to Mozzart Sport ahead of the game, Quins Senegalese head coach Amady Diallo noted the importance of the clash despite having nothing to play for.

“Yes, today we will play a very very important game against Nakuru after losing six games in a row. It was very difficult for us given the way we lost these games. That's why we really need this victory and we will give everything to take it.

We have a few injuries that's why we changed the team but we are very motivated to finish strong. Unfortunately, we missed our objective of playing in the semi-finals, we learned a lot of lessons that will serve us in the future,” said Diallo.

Quins are marked safe from relegation despite their poor run of form that has seen them yet to get off the mark this year and have no chance of breaking into the playoff slots which was sealed last weekend.

Nakuru who are the 2013 and 2014 Kenya Cup champions come into the clash following a deflating 13-8 loss to Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology following back to back wins over Nondescripts and Impala.
