KCB exerted their dominance with a 39-8 win over Nondies on Saturday, leaving Olago impressed with his charges.
Following their emphatic win over Nondescripts on Saturday, KCB RFC head coach Curtis Olago is concerned about the rumoured Kenya Cup break.
According to reports, Kenya Cup is set to take a break heading into Matchday Six as the Barthes Cup takes centre stage from 24th June to 4th July at the Nyayo National Stadium.
Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Olago intimated that KCB are yet to hit their strides despite the 39-8 win over Nondescripts and was concerned about the Kenya Cup break.
“The game was all good, we are still at about 40% we will keep working and see what we will come up with the only problem is that we do not know when the next games are going to be, I heard there is a break,”
“It is not easy playing 14 men in one half, the boys put their bodies on the line we had to dig deep for the win,” said Olago.

Wilfred Waswa was handed a red card in the latter stages of the first half for taking out a Nondies player in mid-air as he landed on his head leaving the referee with no option but to send him off.
KCB however displayed exceptional game management skills as they limited Nondies to just one try in the whole game to extend their winning streak this season.
Olago provided an injury update on Kenya Sevens skipper Andrew Amonde who failed to complete the match as he was withdrawn due to an injury.
“He had a small bite on the lip and had to get stitches, we cannot risk anything,” added Olago.
Olago who doubles up as the Kenya Under 20 head coach will now turn his attentions to Chipu as they begin their Barthes title defence on Thursday.
