The 2025 series will kick off with Driftwood 7s at Mombasa Sports Club on Saturday, 26 to Sunday, 27 July, followed by the Prinsloo 7s at Nakuru Athletics Club on Saturday, 2 to Sunday, 3 August
The Kabeberi 7s, which serves as the fifth leg of the 2025 National Sevens Circuit, was initially scheduled to take place at the Goan Institute Sports Ground in Pangani.
The proposed move followed a landmark partnership unveiled earlier this year, which saw Mwamba RFC secure a permanent base at the Goan Institute from January 1, 2025.

However, in a recent update, the club confirmed venue change, dates, and ticket prices for the tournament.
“The 2025 Kabeberi7s is officially heading to RFUEA Grounds — mark the dates: 5–7 September!
Tickets: Advance Regular: Kshs 400, Advance VIP: Kshs 1,000," wrote the club, which intends to sell the ticket via its digital platform.
Had the Goan Institute hosted the tournament as initially planned, it would have become the fourth different venue to stage the Kabeberi 7s in recent years, following past editions held at Nairobi Railway Club, RFUEA Grounds, and Meru Stadium.
The 2025 series will kick off with Driftwood 7s at Mombasa Sports Club on Saturday, 26 to Sunday, 27 July, followed by the Prinsloo 7s at Nakuru Athletics Club on Saturday, 2 to Sunday, 3 August.
After a brief break, teams will regroup for the Christie 7s at Nairobi’s RFUEA Grounds on Saturday, 16 to Sunday, 17 August.
The circuit will then conclude with Kabeberi 7s in Nairobi on Saturday, 6 to Sunday, 7 September, and Dala 7s in Kisumu on Saturday, 13 to Sunday, 14 September.
Last season, Kenya Harlequin were crowned champions of the National 7s Circuit for the first time since 2012.
They were a picture of consistency throughout the campaign, reaching five semi-finals and winning both the Driftwood 7s and Ingo 7s to finish top with 109 points, just ahead of Kabras, who collected 105 points.
It was Quins’ fourth overall title in the history of the circuit, adding to their triumphs in 2005, 2006, and 2012.
Their resurgence placed them among the country’s most successful 7s outfits, alongside Impala, Mwamba RFC, and KCB.
