Kenya Legends will welcome UK Tritons in a highly-anticipated match slated for Saturday, 9 November at the RFUEA Grounds.
Brimming with nostalgia, this occasion will bring together a collection of legendary rugby players who have long hung their boots, with some embracing managerial roles in esteemed clubs.
The match is also expected to revive the glory days of some of the greatest legends in the history of Kenya Rugby. The last time they played at the same grounds was on Saturday, 28 September. Kenya defeated Uganda Legends 24-15.
The match pitting UK Tritons was set for the Impala Grounds on Friday 8 November but was pushed to Saturday to give fans a full day of thrilling rugby action. It will curtain-raise the Elgon Cup pitting Kenya Simbas and Uganda Cranes.
The match is also part of their preparation for their upcoming tour to the Dubai 7s slated for December where they will be playing in the Vets category.
The squad is littered with talent.
Former KCB Rugby player George Asin starts at hooker position and will be assisted by his former teammate Curtis Lilako and Allan Namu at the front row.
