The Bankers will start their Enterprise Cup campaign with a clash against Strathmore Leos.
After falling short in the Kenya Cup this season, KCB RFC flanker Andrew Amonde is looking to bag the Enterprise Cup to ensure they do not end the season trophyless.
The Bankers settled for third place after beating Strathmore Leos 52-22, failing to etch their name into the illustrious list containing Impala RFC and Nondescripts as the only teams to have won the Kenya Cup five consecutive times.

We are thankful for all of it this season. The highs, the lows. The blessings. The lessons. The setbacks. The comebacks. Everything. Sisi ni wale wenyu tu. Number 3 ni yetu na next season pia ni season. Bless.

Amonde revealed that they will now prioritise the Enterprise Cup after surrendering the Kenya Cup to Kabras Sugar RFC who reclaimed the title they won back in 2016.
“We will keep on working and pushing our limits. We keep on rebuilding and we will focus on what's ahead, we have the Enterprise Cup and the National Sevens Circuit. Enterprise is the best thing at hand now and that is the main thing we are going to focus on and get ourselves to the final,” said Amonde.
KCB will kickstart their quest for the Enterprise Cup with a clash against familiar foes Strathmore Leos on Saturday 19 March after beating them in the third-place playoffs.

The former Kenya Sevens skipper admitted that the season has been a rollercoaster of emotions but will pick lessons from the loss to Menengai Oilers in the semi-final of the Kenya Cup.
“It was a mixed season with a lot of expectations from us and I think we feel short, we were not able to go all the way it's a lesson to us as former champions to fall short and not get into the final,” added Amonde.
