The victory not only extended the Sugar Millers' domestic dominance but also etched their name alongside Nondescripts RFC as one of the few sides to achieve a five-peat in the Enterprise Cup.

Remarkably, the Kakamega-based Sugarmen have now completed a domestic double, winning both the Kenya Cup and Enterprise Cup in four consecutive seasons (2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025), with three of those campaigns being unbeaten.

For the Oilers, it was another heartbreak in their quest for a maiden major 15s title.

From the kickoff, Kabras stamped their authority, camping in Oilers’ territory and testing their back three with Ntabeni Dukisa’s probing high balls.

Despite an early opportunity going begging when Griffins Chao knocked on with the try line beckoning, Kabras remained in control.

They suffered a setback when Jeanson Misoga hobbled off with a leg injury and was replaced by Collins Indeche, but they still continued to dominate.

Dukisa’s missed penalty in the 21st minute offered Oilers a reprieve, but he atoned for his error, slotting a three-pointer after persistent infringements by the Oilers to put Kabras 3-0 ahead.

The South African was again at the centre of action, setting up Bryceson Adaka for a powerful run. Although a scoring opportunity was lost after Eric Cantona was stopped short by Samuel Ovwamu, Kabras kept the pressure on.

Their persistence paid off just before halftime when Hillary Odhiambo broke the line and offloaded to Walter Okoth, who crossed over for the first try.

Dukisa converted for a 10-0 lead. Moments later, Barry Robinson's long pass found Alfred Orege, who stepped inside to score at the corner, extending the advantage to 15-0 at the break, despite a missed conversion.

The second half saw Kabras pick up where they left off, with Dukisa slotting another penalty to make it 18-0.

Oilers finally found some rhythm, pushing back and getting on the scoreboard through Beldad Ogeta, with Timothy Omela adding the extras.

But Kabras quickly silenced any hopes of a comeback. Eugene Sifuna broke through, feeding Gabriel Adero for a try under the posts, duly converted by Dukisa for a 25-7 lead.

Griffins Chao, making up for his earlier error, then intercepted and sprinted clear to score, although Dukisa missed the conversion.

Oilers clawed back a consolation try through Samuel Ovwamu, but it was too little, too late.

A final penalty by Dukisa sealed a 33-12 triumph for Kabras, who celebrated yet another unbeaten season in style as Dukisa booted the ball into touch at the final whistle.

Meanwhile, Mwamba RFC ladies entered the fourpeat class after beating long-term rivals Impala RFC 10-5 in a brutally physical final played at the Goan Institute in Pangani.
