The Bankers, who came into the decider chasing their sixth Kabeberi crown, wasted little time in stamping their authority.
A scrum deep in Falcons territory provided the platform for Vincent Onyala to spread play wide, setting up Elvis Olukusi for the opening try.
Moments later, scrum-half Samuel Asati grounded the ball to double KCB’s lead before combining with Bob Muhati to create space for Onyala, who finished off his side’s third try.
At the stroke of halftime, a loose ball was picked up by Olukusi, who raced clear to give the Thika Road outfit a commanding 20-0 lead at the break.
Daystar Falcons, appearing in their maiden final, showed resilience in the second half.
Kenya Sevens speedster Patrick Odongo used his pace to glide past Floyd Wabwire to give his side the first try.
The students struck again late on but their efforts were no more than consolation as KCB held firm to clinch the title.
The victory saw KCB join Mwamba RFC—who won four successive titles between 1988 and 1991—as the only teams to achieve a Kabeberi four-peat.
The win also keeps them firmly in pole position to retain the National 7s Circuit crown, especially following Strathmore Leos fall in the semifinals.

The triumph, further, marked KCB’s sixth overall Kabeberi 7s title (2008, 2014, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025), further underlining their dominance in the post-COVID era.
Kabras humble Strathmore Leos
In the third-place playoff, Kabras RFC secured their best finish at the Kabeberi 7s in recent circuits, defeating Strathmore Leos 24-12.
The Sugarmen started brightly, with Brian Mutua powering over after a scrum turnover.
Moments later, winger Kevin Wekesa dazzled past his marker, Barnabas Owuor, to double the lead.
Veteran playmaker Brian Tanga then linked up with Wekesa for his splaymaker and converted to stretch the score to 17-0.
Strathmore mounted a brief comeback through Samuel Wafula and Victor Mola, but Kabras put the scores beyond their reach when Mathias Osimbo broke the defensive line to secure a 24-12 win.
Mwamba clinch women’s title
In the women’s competition, Mwamba RFC lifted the Stephanie Memorial Trophy after edging out Impala RFC 17-12.
