Taabu has managed to shake off an injury that he picked last weeked and is available for this weekend's action.
Kenya Sevens rugby team has been handed a massive boost ahead of this weekend’s Dubai Sevens part II after speedster Daniel Taabu returned to training, in the process increasing coach Innocent Simiyu’s selection pool.
Taabu missed the better part of Dubai Sevens I last week after he picked an ankle injury in the group stage and was forced to watch the remainder of the tournament from the stands. In his absence, Kenya battled to an eighth-place finish, a result that they will be keen on bettering during the December 3-4 tournament.
Coach Simiyu has now confirmed that the speedy player will be available for selection as Kenya takes to the pitch on Saturday and Sunday.
"Taabu picked up an ankle injury early in the tournament last week and that's why he missed the last five matches. He will play in Dubai Sevens II," Simiyu told the Daily Nation.

"We traveled with 14 players, so Kelvin Wekesa will come in as player 13,” Simiyu added.
For Dubai II, Kenya has been pooled in Group B alongside Australia, USA and Canada.
