The best shooter of today (and probably of all time) has extended his contract with the team that drafted him
The "Splash Brothers" era may have come to an end with Klay Thompson's departure to Dallas to join Luka Dončić, but the main man of the duo - Steph Curry - has no intention of changing teams.
The Golden State Warriors have agreed with their biggest star to extend his contract for another season, specifically until the summer of 2027. For this extension, Curry will receive a staggering $62,600,000.
This likely means that Curry will end his career with the Warriors, the team that drafted him, as he will be 38 years old when the contract concludes. Although we have seen players continue to play into their 40s, it would indeed be sensational to see Steph Curry in any team other than Golden State.

The signing comes after Curry's brilliant performance at the Olympic Games, where he was one of the key players in the USA team that won gold in Paris.
Although he may no longer be in his prime, Curry averaged over 26 points last season and played in 74 games, which shows that he is still capable of making a significant impact on the court.
It remains to be seen whether the Warriors will be competitive, as the team is no longer the dominant force that once consistently won championships.
