The side reclaimed the title they last won in 2022, defeating rivals and final debutants Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), 2-0 in the best-of-three Final Playoff series.

KPC Managing Director, Joe Sang, while awarding the team, reassured them of continued support while encouraging them to continue with the same zeal.

‘‘We will continue supporting the team, and I can assure you that with a lot of hard work and support from the company, we should be able to see this team again retain the trophy, but more importantly, we want to go for the Africa Championship trophy,’’ he said.

Additionally, Sang further revealed that the company would roll out a financial literacy program to educate the players, giving them a basis for their success in life.

On his part, coach Geoffrey Omondi noted that the team is working on several skill sets to improve on missed opportunities.

“We have gotten the best support from the company, and we intend to do better in the coming season, working on our skills and ensuring that the trophies we missed this season are brought home next season,” said the tactician who doubles as the national team boss.

Apart from the league’s victory, the team also celebrated notable individual awards. Outside hitter Daisy Letting, was named Most Valuable Player, Emmaculate Nekesa, was recognised as the best setter, captain Gladys Ekaru was named best middle blocker, and Loice Simiyu won the best opposite.
