The biggest attraction of the weekend comes on Saturday at 4pm, when men’s premier league leaders USIU-A Men host defending champions Butali Warriors at the USIU-A Grounds.

With the top two sides separated only by goal difference, USIU-A ahead with 29 points from 12 matches and Butali level on points from 13 matches, this fixture carries massive title implications. It is a must-win for both teams with USIU-A looking to strengthen their grip on the summit with six matches left, while Butali seek to reclaim momentum as they enter the final five games of their campaign.

Earlier on Saturday, the women’s Premier League USIU-A Ladies welcome unbeaten defending champions Blazers at 2pm. Blazers, who sit second with 25 points from 11 matches, are chasing down league leaders Lakers and will be looking to maintain their unbeaten streak. In Kisumu, Kisumu Queens take on Amira Sailors at 3pm.

The Super League Men will also be in full swing Saturday, with UoN Men hosting Greensharks at 2pm, KU Men facing Kisumu Youngstars at 3pm in Nairobi, and Sailors playing University of Eldoret at 4pm at Impala Club.

Away from the Premier divisions, Black Tigress face Daystar University Ladies at Lenana School at midday in the Super League Women, while the men’s National League Eastern Zone features TUK vs Parklands SC at Impala shortly after. Fireflickers, Nyari Hockey Club, GHF Rift Pirates, Karate Axiom will also be in action across Nairobi, Nyanza, Central, and Rift Valley.

Sunday brings another wave of high-stakes contests, beginning at 9am when Impala host Nyari Hockey Club in the men’s National League Central Zone. In Kisumu, Lakers Hockey Club Men clash with Kitale Hockey Club to kickstart the day at Kisumu Simba as more than ten matches unfold concurrently across the country.

The women’s Premier League spotlight shifts to Kisumu mid-morning where log leaders Lakers host Amira Sailors at 11am. Lakers, sitting on 30 points from 13 matches, hope to protect their lead from a surging Blazers side. Having drawn three and lost only once this season, Lakers will face a stubborn Amira Sailors unit eager for an upset to dent the leaders’ momentum.

Another key women’s match will see USIU-A Ladies back on the pitch on Sunday at 2pm against KU Ladies.

Sunday afternoon in Nairobi holds additional Premier League women intensity as Blazers take on Twinkle at Jamhuri High School and Butali Warriors meet Strathmore University Men at Parklands Sports Club at 3pm. The latter will test Butali’s depth and resilience, especially coming 24 hours after their crucial meeting with USIU-A.

Super League and National League fixtures remain active throughout the day, including Parkroad Badgers vs UoN Men at noon and Daystar Uni Men vs Parklands SC at Athi River.
