Four teams are set to clash for the 2022 title.
Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) women's league delayed playoffs for the 2022 season have been moved to Kasarani Indoor Gymnasium, Mozzart Sport can confirm.
This is a second change for the event initially scheduled for Makande Hall in Mombasa but then moved to Nyayo Indoor Arena.
With the change of venue to Kasarani, KVF has also been forced to change the dates from 13 to 15 January to Friday 20 to 22 January 2023 due to the availability of the venue.
"It is official, we had to change the venue and subsequently the dates since Kasarani was not available next weekend," organising secretary Ismail Chege confirmed.
Stakeholders had called for the venue to be changed arguing that Nyayo could not carry the crowds of fans expected in the threw days of action.
The championship will see holders Prisons Kenya fight to retain the title they won against a title-hungry Kenya Pipeline and KCB with Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) also planning to spoil the party for the three.
In the regular season, Pipeline finished top of the rankings with KCB and DCI second and third respectively. The defending champions find themselves in unfamiliar territory, in fourth.
The Josp Barasa-led side missed the penultimate round of the KVF regular league played in Mombasa thus picked some costly walkovers.
