The deal, unveiled on Wednesday, 29 October at the company’s headquarters in Nairobi, will see Mozzart Bet continue as the official sponsor of Kenya’s national women's volleyball teams, Malkia Strikers and the men’s team Wafalme Stars.
This marks the third phase of collaboration between the two parties, following their initial partnership in July 2022, which was later renewed in 2023 with an increased package from Kshs 10 million to Kshs15 million.
Speaking during the unveiling, KVF President Charles Nyaberi expressed gratitude to Mozzart Bet’s for their continued support and confidence in Kenyan volleyball.
“Kenya Volleyball Federation is grateful to Mozzart Bet Kenya for renewing this partnership and expanding it to include both Malkia Strikers and Wafalme Stars. Every phase of this journey has been remarkable, and the impact is visible,” Nyaberi said.
He further lauded the firm for going beyond contractual obligations to support the federation in times of need.
“They have stood with us even outside the signed agreement. When the team was stranded in Brazil, Mozzart Bet came to our aid. When we lacked sponsorship for the Kenya Cup, they stepped in,” he noted.
Nyaberi assured the sponsors of maximum visibility and value for their investment, adding that the renewed deal will fund key training and exposure programs ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
“This partnership allows our teams to train and compete with some of the best in the world. We have already been to Serbia and Brazil, and more plans are underway,” he said.
Malkia Strikers captain Meldina Sande welcomed the renewed partnership, saying it will boost morale and ease logistical challenges for the players.
“We are humbled by Mozzart Bet’s continued support, especially at a time when sports in Kenya face financial challenges. This sponsorship gives us confidence and peace of mind in camp, allowing us to focus fully on training and performance,” said Sande.

Also present was Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) President Bouchra Hajji, who commended Mozzart Bet for its commitment to developing the sport in Kenya and across the continent.
“On behalf of the African Volleyball Confederation, I extend sincere appreciation to Mozzart Bet Kenya for sponsoring Kenya’s national volleyball teams, especially the Malkia Strikers,” Hajji said.
“We encourage the company to extend the same support to youth teams who are the future of African volleyball.”
Hajji also praised Kenya’s dominance in the continental scene, noting the Malkia Strikers’ ten African Championship titles and current world ranking of 19th.
“Kenya remains the pride of African volleyball. As the continental federation, we remain fully committed to strengthening our partnership with KVF and helping improve their global standing,” she added.
