First-half goals from Zaina Nauleme and Emily Moranga, as well as second-half strikes from Margaret Kunihira and Lucy Kwekwe, were enough to grant the Law Enforcers the maximum points.
Heading into the match, Police were on top of the log with 25 points, one more than Vihiga Bullets, with Ulinzi Starlets and Trinity Starlets closing the top four with 23 points.
Kayole, on the other hand, were seventh following a torrid run of form that had seen them win one match in four games.
Police began the encounter with a high tempo, dominating play and initiating early attacks through Moranga and Kunihira.

The Law Enforcers reaped from their concerted efforts in the 15th minute when Zaina Namuleme found the back of the net via a deflection.
Buoyed by the goal, the Law Enforcers extended their dominance in the match and scored the second in the 32nd minute through Moranga after Kayole failed to clear their lines, with Police taking a 2-0 lead to halftime.
Police were not satisfied with the two-goal lead and introduced Harambee Starlets duo of Diana Wacera and Faith Mboya for her debut, with Puren Alukwe and Lorna Nyarinda making way.

The changes further upped the ante for Police who extended their dominance in the match, with Wacera bossing the midfield.

Police added a third through Kunihira, who picked the ball on the edge of the box and unleashed a thunderbolt that flew into the back of the net in the 57th minute.
Kayole’s best chance of the match came in the 85th minute when Magneta Ocharo dribbled past the Police defense and into the box, but her shot went wide off the right post.

The league newbies were made to pay for their profligacy when Police recruit Lucy Kwekwe found the back of the net in the 90th minute to complete the rout.
With the win, Police are now on 28 points, four clear of Vihiga Queens as the second leg kicks off.
