The league has enjoyed a smooth start with all fixtures played as scheduled. As it stands, Trinity Starlets sit at the top of the table with 10 points following their 4–2 victory over Kisped Queens.

Vihiga Queens and defending champions Kenya Police Bullets are second and third respectively, both on nine points and separated only by goal difference.

At the bottom of the table, Kisped Queens remain winless after four matches and are joined in the relegation zone by league newcomers Gideon Starlets, who have also lost all four of their games, and Kisumu Allstarlets, who have one point.

Vihiga Queens vs Ulinzi Starlets

The race for the league summit will see Vihiga Queens host Ulinzi Starlets at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu from 3:00 p.m.

Vihiga have made a perfect start to the season, winning all three of their opening matches and scoring 12 goals in the process.

The Kenyan giants are on a mission to reclaim the league title from Kenya Police Bullets and could not have asked for a better start.

“We have had a good start to the season, winning our first three matches, and that has really boosted the team’s morale.

Being on top always comes with pressure, but we make sure to work hard in training and correct mistakes from previous games. That is the secret behind our early success,” said Vihiga coach Boniface Nyamunyamu in an interview with Citizen Digital.

Vihiga’s strength this season has been their attacking threat, led by Martha Amunyolete and Airine Madalina, who have scored all 12 of the team’s goals. Amunyolete has netted eight, including five against Kisped, while Madalina has scored four.

Nyamunyamu shared his strategy ahead of the crucial clash.

“Ulinzi are a very strong team and genuine title contenders. We respect them, but we will capitalize on our home advantage and work hard to convert our chances to secure maximum points.”

Ulinzi will be keen to build on their solid start, having recorded two wins and one draw so far.

The Collins Oduor coached side will be eager to avoid a repeat of last season’s slow start that saw them finish second behind Police Bullets.

Kisumu Allstarlets vs Kenya Police Bullets

Before the top of the table clash, Kisumu Allstarlets will host defending champions Kenya Police Bullets at the same venue from 1:00 p.m.

Police will be looking to extend their perfect start in their quest to retain the title, while the home side will be hoping to register their first win of the season.

This fixture has been dominated by the law enforcers, who completed a double over the lakeside club last season.

Bungoma Queens vs Kayole Starlets

At the Bungoma National Polytechnic, Bungoma Queens take on league newcomers Kayole Starlets from 1:00 p.m.

Bungoma registered their first win of the season in midweek, beating Madira Soccer Assassins 2–0, and will be hoping to build on that momentum.

Kayole will be aiming for their third straight win after recovering from a narrow 2–1 loss to Police Bullets in their season opener.

The Nairobi based side has shown great promise, defeating experienced top tier opponents as they continue their impressive debut season.

Madira Soccer Assassins vs Kibera Soccer Women

At the Ebusakami Grounds in Luanda, Vihiga County, Madira Soccer Assassins will host Kibera Soccer Women from 1:00 p.m.

Madira have had a mixed start to life in the top flight, recording all three possible results of a football match: a win, a draw, and a loss.

Kibera have endured a poor start and are yet to win a game this season as they adjust to the loss of key players from last term.

Madira will be targeting a home victory to improve their position on the table, while Kibera, under coach George Bob Okallo, will be seeking their first win of the campaign to add to their two points so far.
