WPL: Police Bullets clash with Kayole as Gideon Starlets welcome Madira

Defending champions Kenya Police Bullets take on Kayole Starlets, while Gideon Starlets face off with Madira Soccer Assassins, all matches kicking off at 1300 hrs.

With the conclusion of the first leg, Police Bullets are on top of the 12-team league table with 25 points, one more than Kenyan giants Vihiga Queens who are second, while military side Ulinzi Starlets and Trinity Starlets close the top four with 23 points each.
The relegation zone is a Nyanza affair where Kisumu All Starlets lie at the bottom with a single point, as Kisped Queens and Gideon Starlets join them in the relegation zone with four points and nine points respectively.
Police Bullets vs Kayole Starlets
Police will be seeking to extend the gap at the top of the table when they host Kayole Starlets at the Police Sacco Stadium.
Today's encounter will be the first time the two Nairobi-based clubs will be facing each other, with Kayole competing in their maiden top flight season.

Having won the last two league titles, the law enforcers will be seeking to make it three in their third season, yet again creating more history.
The David Bujego-coached side acquired Harambee Starlets forward Faith Mboya from Kibera Soccer Women and goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro in a bid to improve the competitiveness of the team.

Gideon Starlets vs Madira Soccer Assassins
The other match of the day will see Gideon Starlets lock horns with Madira Soccer Assassins at the Mawego Polytechnic Grounds in Homa Bay County.
The two sides were promoted to the top flight this season, Madira making a comeback while Gideon making their maiden appearance.
