Newcastle United forward had no mercy for the underdogs, wrapping up a 4-1 statement win in the World Cup Qualifiers on Friday
It's been only four days since Yoane Wissa joined Newcastle United in a move from Brentford on Deadline Day, and the Congolese striker has already made his mark - but not for the Magpies!
The 28-year-old forward netted on Friday afternoon for DR Congo in a brutal 4-1 win against South Sudan in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Wissa scored a goal and added an assist in a convincing win at minnows' soil.

It started great for the visitors, as Cedric Bakambu broke the deadlock early on before the same player doubled the lead before the half-time interval.
The game was wrapped up in the first-half stoppage time, with Wissa assisting Nathanael Mbuku for the third goal of the game, thus killing the tie.
Following the assist, Wissa added his name to the scoreboard, too. The Magpies' latest reinforcement showed some serious finishing skills, nailing it with his right for the Congolese fourth goal.
