MOFA boasts five former APS players in the name of Wanga, Ongori, Pablo, Abdalla Swale and Charles Kwakah, who will be up against their former side.
In an interview with Mozzart Sport, Wanga said it will just be like any other match, even though with some little, additional interest.
“There are five of us who featured for APS Bomet have nothing to prove. Of course there is an additional need of performing well in the game, but there is no pressure at all,” said Wanga.
Nevertheless, Wanga expects a difficult match from the law enforcers, but notes they are aiming for the maximum points.
“It is expected to be a tough game just like all the other ones, but as always, we will approach it with a winning mentality,” he said.
MOFA go into the game on the back of a 2-1 loss to Migori Youth and Wanga said they have identified what went wrong in the game and look forward to making amends in Bomet.
“We lost our last game which all of us felt disappointed not to have won,” he said. “Led by the technical bench, we analyzed it and worked on our mistakes, while also putting more emphasis on our strengths,” he stated.
“For example, we realized that we lost concentration at critical moments of the game and conceded goals. We have tried to work on that.”
MOFA are currently seventh on the NSL table with 12 points, five fewer than APS Bomet at position three. The match kicks off at 1500 hrs.
In other second-tier matches on Saturday, Migori Youth will welcome bottom-placed Mombasa Stars at Migori Stadium (1500 EAT) while Nzoia Sugar invite Naivas in a basement battle at Sudi in the early kickoff at 1300 EAT.
