The program, which is set to begin at 0900hrs, will include the launch of the Shabana FC documentary, entertainment from both local and international artists, unveiling of the new 2025/26 squad and most importantly, a fundraiser for the upcoming season.
Additionally and to crown the day will be a friendly match between Shabana and Tanzania Premier League side Pamba Jiji FC.
Pamba Jiji is home to former Shabana forward Mathew Tegisi.
The club is also coached by Kenyan tactician Francis Baraza, while also boasting other Kenyans in the squad, including goalkeeper coach John Waw, midfielder Shaphan Siwa and defender Brian Eshihanda.
“The match will be used to showcase the team we are building, playing patterns and player combinations ahead of the new season,” stated Shabana.
With Kenyans subscribing to different political opinions and political leaders from various formations expected in the event, the club called for tolerance on the day.
“We are non-political and all our fans are asked to welcome visitors from across all political divides and show a good image. Let's enjoy the game and bond.”
Shabana recorded the highest revenue in match day tickets last season, totalling over Ksh20 million, and the club is looking for ways to tap into their fan base and create sustainable financial systems.
