From having a new league leader in Kenya Police FC to debutants APS Bomet untangling themselves from the relegation zone, the league table is slowly taking shape.
Mozzart Sport covered all eight matches and summarised the happenings into six lessons as discussed below.
Mozzart Bet Effect
Gaming giants Mozzart Bet’s impact in the FKF Premier League and particularly on APS Bomet continues to manifest.
The Law Enforcers were struggling to register positive results in the league in what is their maiden season in the top flight.

However, since inking a sponsorship deal worth Ksh11 million with Mozzart Bet, the tides have changed, and the team is enjoying a good run of form, the latest being their 1-0 victory over Bandari FC in a match played on Sunday, 7 December.
On the eve of unveiling the sponsorship deal, APS handed Kenyan giants Gor Mahia a comprehensive 4-1 hiding and held 2009 champions Sofapaka to a goalless draw thereafter.
With the latest victory, APS are now, for the first time since the start of the season, out of the relegation zone, sitting 15th on the log with 12 points, two shy of the top half of the table.
Ingwe end winless streak with Derby win
Kenyan giants AFC Leopards ended their three-match winless streak with a 1-0 victory over their arch-rivals Gor Mahia in the 98th Mashemeji Derby held on Sunday, 7 December.
While many pundits tipped K’Ogalo to emerge victorious, Leopards had a well-executed game plan that was not only able to silence the otherwise lethal Gor Mahia attack but also caused countless problems to their much hyped solid defense.

In the end, Ingwe head coach Fred Ambani was able to preserve his unbeaten record in the Mashemeji Derby and hand Ghanaian tactician Charles Akannor his first defeat in the fixture.
Leopards are now seventh on the log with 17 points, three shy of league leaders Kenya Police FC.
Korea's perfect start at Posta persists
Posta Rangers continue to enjoy a good start to life under head coach Collins ‘Korea’ Omondi following a 2-0 victory over reigning Mozzart Bet Cup champions Nairobi United.
Omondi took charge of the Mailmen following the exit of the APS Bomet-bound Sammy 'Pamzo' Omollo, whom he served as an assistant, about two weeks ago.
In his first match in charge, Korea ended Posta’s six-match winless streak with a win over Bidco United before compounding Nairobi United's woes.
Under Korea, Posta are back to playing like a team that was on top of the league table after the first four matches.
The team is dominating the midfield, pinning the opponent in their own half with their quick midfield passes before the ball is switched to their pacy wingers, who then deliver dangerous crosses on the opponent's penalty area.

With the two consecutive wins, Posta are now fourth on the log with 19 points.
Naibois’ woes continue
Nairobi United’s poor run extended after the Mozzart Bet Cup champions suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, two of them in the league.
In their latest wobble, Naibois suffered a 2-0 loss to Posta Rangers, leaving them 13th on the log with 12 points.
Additionally, the Nicholas Muyoti-coached side have not scored in any of their last four games, pointing to their blunt attack.
Some pundits have attributed their struggles to a difficulty in balancing the CAF Confederation Cup and league assignments.
Police showing mark of a champion
Kenya Police FC continue to exhibit ingredients of a champion if their recent matches are anything to go by.
The league defending champions have managed to secure wins even in matches where they have not necessarily controlled the game.
The Law Enforcers were matched in almost all aspects by Kariobangi Sharks, but used their experience to stay patient and took the lead through a brilliant Abud Omar free kick.
With the lead, they defended with their lives to ensure they earned maximum points that took them to the summit of the league table.
Tusker Building momentum
12-time league champions Tusker FC are once again building a winning momentum after securing a 1-0 victory over Ulinzi Stars, making it back-to-back wins for the first time since October.
The Brewers are now sixth on the log with 18 points and will face 2010 league champions Ulinzi Stars in their next match on Thursday, 11 December.
